Second Boston Bar Employee Facing Charges In Marine Vet's Stabbing Death

A second employee at Sons of Boston is facing charges in connection with the stabbing death of a Marine veteran outside earlier this year, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said.

Daniel Martinez was a decorated US Marine who was spending St. Patrick's weekend in Boston when he was fatally stabbed.

Alisha Dumeer, age 34, of Everett was indicted on a charge of accessory after the fact of murder in connection with the death of 23-year-old Daniel Martinez, the office reports.

This comes after Alvaro Larrama, age 38, was charged with Martinez's murder outside the bar on March 19, the office reports. Larrama, who worked at the bar as a bouncer, is also facing charges stemming from an assault on a Sons of Boston patron on March 6, the office reports.

“This is a case that not only involves the fatal stabbing of Mr. Martinez but also the actions of people, including these two defendants, immediately after that stabbing," DA Kevin Hayden said. "Our investigation is continuing and if additional charges are warranted, they will be pursued."

Both Dumeer and Larrama will be arraigned on June 30, the office reports.
